Dr. Jonathan Candido, DMD

Dr. Candido didn't fall into dentistry by accident. He decided at 14 that this was his calling — and by the time he was a high school senior, he was already assisting in a dental office.
After earning his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2021, he spent years working in other practices, learning what he liked (genuine patient relationships, precision work, implants) and what he didn't (production quotas, rushed appointments, unnecessary treatments).
Rome Dental is the practice he built from the ground up — the kind of place where he could do dentistry the way he believed it should be done.
What He Loves Most:
If Dr. Candido could place dental implants all day, every day, he would. There's something about the combination of surgical precision and cosmetic artistry that gets him excited to come to work. He loves working to give you the smile of your dreams.
His Approach:
"I want to give you the result you actually want — not just the one I think is good enough."
That's why he plans every implant digitally before surgery, creates temporary restorations you can "test drive" before committing, and personally calls patients the evening after any surgical procedure.
Beyond the Office:
When he's not working (which is rare — he's here seven days a week most of the time), Dr. Candido enjoys gaming, staying active, traveling, and finding the best pizza within driving distance.
